Under the Bridge Limited Edition Black & White
There is a unique kind of magic in capturing a split second of movement against the backdrop of an iconic city. This striking black and white photograph was taken by me personally while standing on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, looking down as a sleek sailboat glided gracefully through the water below.
The composition plays beautifully with perspective and depth. The sharp, industrial lines of the bridge's underbelly contrast perfectly with the elegant curve of the sailboat's sails. In the foreground, an out-of-focus architectural element (bokeh) frames the scene, giving the viewer the intimate feeling of stealing a quiet glance from above the bustling harbour.
Stripped of color, this monochrome piece highlights the raw textures of the rippling water and the intricate engineering of the bridge. It is more than just a photograph; it is a piece of Sydney's maritime soul, ready to bring a sense of adventure, peace, and sophisticated drama to your space. By Ernesto Santana
