Cancellation Policy

BOOKING, CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY Applicable to all photography services offered in Sydney: Express (30 min) · 1 Hour · 90 Minutes · 2 Hours · Half-Day · Events Last updated: [date] 1. Booking Confirmation A booking is considered confirmed only when: The corresponding payment or deposit has been received. The client has received a confirmation email or message from the photographer. Bookings without payment or confirmation do not reserve the date or time. 2. Deposit & Payment A 30% deposit of the total service value is required to secure the date. The remaining balance must be paid before the start of the session. The deposit is non-refundable if the client cancels, but it is transferable to a new date if rescheduled according to the conditions of this policy. 3. Cancellation Policy a) Cancellation more than 72 hours in advance: The client may cancel at no cost. The deposit is refunded or transferred to a new date, at the client's choice. b) Cancellation between 24 and 72 hours before the session: The deposit is non-refundable. The client may reschedule once within the following 60 days, subject to availability. c) Cancellation on the same day or less than 24 hours in advance: No refund of any amount paid. The client may reschedule once within the following 30 days, subject to availability and payment of a rescheduling fee of 20% of the total service value. If the client does not reschedule within that period, they lose the right to the session and to any amount paid. d) No-Show: If the client does not appear at the agreed meeting point within 15 minutes after the start time, the session is considered cancelled on the same day. The conditions of section (c) apply. 4. Rescheduling Policy All rescheduling requests must be made in writing (email or direct message) and confirmed by the photographer. Only one reschedule per booking is allowed. The new date must fall within the periods indicated in section 3. Rescheduling is subject to the photographer's availability. If the client requests to reschedule more than once, an additional 20% fee will apply for each additional change. 5. Cancellation by the Photographer If the photographer cancels for their own reasons (illness, emergency, dangerous weather conditions): The client will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, or May reschedule at no additional cost on the date that best suits them, subject to availability.
